BAH rates by duty station, 2026

BAH is a monthly, tax-free housing allowance set by where you're stationed, your grade, and whether you have dependents. The U.S. is split into 299 housing areas plus 39 rural county groups. An E-5 with dependents gets from $1,185 to $5,127 a month.
